As a job seeker, you'll have the chance to meet companies and municipalities that are hiring, learn more about what they are looking for and how to stand out, and connect with other people from your field. As a recruiter, you’ll get to meet 100+ highly skilled job seekers from a variety of fields. The session happens in Zoom and is divided into two parts:

Part 1: Presentations

• Ingunn Søyland and Cecilie Engelsgjerd Stornes join us from recruiting start-up North Magnet. Ingunn and Cecilie will show us how AI is changing recruiting and what you, as a job-seeker, need to know to be found in a candidate search.

  North Magnet is ‘Revolutionizing Recruiting’ (by) ‘… using artificial intelligence to map the need for core competencies and soft skills in companies before recruitment… (they) connect this to a robotized and targeted search for profiles based on the actual identified needs in terms of expertise, and guide candidates through a smart selection platform that matches the position, the needs, and the candidate.’ (my translation, from an article in Shifter which you can find here: North Magnet: Revolusjonerer Rekruttering med Kunstig Intelligens og Talection.

• We are also joined by Sølve Mala, recruiter at Omega365. Sølve will introduce Omega365 and share insights into expected hiring trends and current needs. Omega364 is growing fast and currently has 85 open vacancies in Norway. They have office locations in several places in Norway and across Europe, North America, and Oceania.

  ‘At Omega 365, we enhance project performance by providing expert personnel, AI, and advanced technology.’ Omega365 delivers software/tech, consulting, and subsea.

Part 2: Networking

• Talk with the speakers and/or companies directly in smaller groups or connect with other people from your field.

10.00-10.15: sign in and introductions

10.15-10.30: North Magnet

10.30-10.45: Omega365

10.45-10-55: Info about breakout rooms + move into breakout rooms

10.55-11.25: networking session, 2 X 15 min (opportunity to change room after 15 min)

11.25: back to main room, links, thanks, and farewell
