Welcome to a workshop where we explore how to start a business (sole proprietorship or AS) in Norway, which tools and support are available, and whether this is something you might consider.

You can expect:

✅ Information about portable careers and why running a business is a perfect solution for some internationals

✅Information about how to start a business locally: support networks, entrepreneur ecosystems, free courses

✅An opportunity to discuss ideas and share them with us

This is a collaboration event organized by Sammen om en jobb and Skape. You’ll be hosted by Tone Indrelid and Thorgeir Taksdal

Who is it for:

✅ Skilled internationals in Rogaland who are interested in starting a business

✅ You don’t have to see yourself as an entrepreneur. Starting your own thing can also be a springboard into a salaried position

✅ Especially members of the high-mobility community can benefit from discussing portable business ideas

Practicalities:

The event is hosted in Måltidets Hus, Richard Johnsens vei 4 in Ullandhaug. The nearest bus stop is Innovasjonsparken. Paid parking is available. You’ll be received in Måltidets Hus reception from 9.45. Please be on time, we start at 10.00 sharp!
