Help us bridge the gap with Kompetansebro

Over the years, we have noticed several gaps in available information for skilled internationals who move to Norway and start looking for work. Not gaps as in ‘missing information’ but rather, gaps as in ‘too much information’, ‘information hosted on different platforms’, and ‘irrelevant information for my situation.’

We know that this slows people down, and time that could be spent finding work and connecting with a new country is spent navigating websites and deciphering rules and regulations.

We decided to do something.

Supported by generous funding from Sparebankstiftelsen SR-Bank, technical support from Accenture, and development funding from PA Foundation, we have been working on Kompetansebro: a scalable digital ecosystem where our members can find the information they need, and we can share our knowledge more strategically with partner organisations to support more internationals across Norway.

This is a work in progress, but we are super excited to show you where we are and where we are going.

Practicalities:

The event is hosted in Innovasjonsparken, Professor Olav Hansens vei 7 in Ullandhaug. Building i2, in the Atrium.
