Relationships, trust, and reputation are extremely important for career growth. But how?
As part of the nationwide " Norway Welcome Week " initiative , we invite everyone to join us in exploring this topic.
The idea is simple: everyone has something to contribute. Bring your own experiences and questions, meet others who are navigating the Norwegian workforce, and leave with a roadmap for getting started.
We'll share our best tips for building connections and work together to create a “connection bank” of useful communities, events, networks, and opportunities. Everyone who attends will receive a copy of our “great places to start building connections” list afterward.

A brief introduction to building relationships and trust

✅Guest speaker: Evelien Gebuis from Invest in Rogaland. Evelien is originally from the Netherlands and worked in communications in Stavanger for over 10 years before taking on her current role at Invest in Rogaland. Invest in Rogaland’s mission is to attract people and investments to Rogaland—if that doesn’t scream “networking,” I don’t know what does. We look forward to hearing about Evelien’s journey in the Norwegian workforce and her tips on building relationships and professional networks.

The event will be held at Måltidets Hus, Richard Johnsens gate 4, in the “Havgapet” room.
The nearest bus stop is Innovasjonsparken. Parking is available in the parking garage beneath Måltidets Hus (building i8) or behind building i2 at Innovasjonsparken (turn right at Norce).
