This Privacy Policy explains how Sammen om en jobb collects and uses personal information to provide services to job seekers (mentees), volunteers (mentors), and partners.

Why We Need Information From You
We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
To be able to make good matches between mentors and mentees based on their fields of expertise, experience, and needs.
To manage participation in the mentoring program and other activities.
To be able to report results and demographic data to our public funding sources.
To send relevant information and newsletters to our members.
What Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above:
Basic information: Name, age/date of birth, nationality/country of origin, gender, email address, phone number, and county/municipality.
Background: Education, work experience, and resume.
Photos: Photos from events, provided that specific consent has been given for this.
Who has access to the information?
Your personal data is stored in a secure cloud-based system developed in collaboration with Accenture on the Salesforce platform.
Access to this information is generally limited to employees of Sammen om en jobb who need it for their work. We will share information with others in the following cases:
When matching a mentee with a mentor. To ensure successful matches, we will present the mentee and mentor with a proposed match via phone and text message. We will then share information about their education and resumes with the other party.
If you have consented to being visible in our digital community, others with access will be able to view information about you. These will include other mentees and mentors, as well as partner companies and recruiters. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
We sometimes receive inquiries from recruiters or managers who are looking for candidates but do not have a profile on our digital platform. When sharing information or resumes with individuals or companies, we always obtain consent in advance.
Consent and Deletion
The processing of your information is based on consent, which you provide when you express your interest or become a member of Sammen om en jobb.
Withdrawing Consent: You may request that your information be deleted at any time by contacting us, or by changing the visibility settings on the digital platform.
Membership Deletion Procedures: Immediately after canceling your membership, you will become invisible to others in the community/digital platform. Your personal information will remain visible to Sammen om en jobb employees for 12 months after you cancel your membership.
Deletion Procedures for Mentors: We retain personal information for as long as you are an active mentor. We do not contact active mentors after 12 months to ask whether you still wish to be a mentor or if you would like to be removed from our records.
Anonymization: We retain anonymized key data (which cannot be traced back to you) for statistical purposes and to measure results over time.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, as well as to request the correction or deletion of incomplete or inaccurate information. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe that our processing of personal data does not comply with the regulations.
