Kickoff in Oslo in August 2024.
2024 was a very busy year, and we achieved many major milestones:
• We surpassed 160 connections, which is a new annual record
• We have surpassed 600 connections in total since our launch in 2017
• We introduced membership dues and gained 284 members nationwide
• Our learning and networking platform received a major upgrade and was relaunched with a new look and new features in October
We coordinated regional mentoring programs in Oslo, Rogaland, Hallingdal, and Agder. In addition, we carried out five mentoring programs in which employees from Bane NOR, Sval Energi, PA Consulting, and HRP participated as mentors. As mentors, they not only helped people find jobs, but also strengthened their own multicultural competence by working with diversity in practice.
In total, we held nearly 100 events—a mix of Norwegian and English, in-person and online. No matter where in the country you live or what language you speak, you should have access to a full program. Most of our activity takes place in our main regions around Oslo and Stavanger. In 2024, we gained 96 and 87 new members there, respectively. Our most popular event was a digital networking session with over 100 participants.
Through a new major partnership with PA Consulting and Accenture, we secured funding to carry out a major upgrade of our digital learning and networking platform. This year, we would like to extend a special thank you to Wilstar Social Impact, which, after seven years of financial support, will be stepping back to assist new organizations in their start-up phase. Wilstar has not only supported us financially but has also helped build our organization into what it is today through sound advice and guidance. Thank you also to the PA Foundation, the City of Oslo, Rogaland County, Buskerud County, Agder County, Akershus County, the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi), and thank you to Bane NOR, Sval Energi, Worley Rosenberg, and PA Consulting for funding and collaboration on mentoring programs.
Last but not least, we would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the mentors who have contributed their expertise, dedication, and volunteer efforts, to our talented and motivated job seekers, and to all our other partners.
