In collaboration with Likestil Arbeidsliv and with partial funding from IMDi and Agder County, we plan to connect 20–30 immigrants with vocational certificates or higher education to local mentors in Agder in 2023. In this way, we’re helping to address two societal challenges at once: we’re getting people into the relevant job, and we’re meeting the labor market’s need for workers. The program is free, and below you can read more about the mentoring program and how you can participate.

Background
With partial funding from Agder County Council and IMDi, and in collaboration with Likestilt Arbeidsliv, we are launching a mentoring program in 2023 to help refugees and immigrants with higher education find relevant jobs in Agder. In this way, we aim to address two important needs in the region: 1) helping people find meaningful jobs that match their skills, and 2) meeting the labor market’s need for workers. The project is coordinated by Katerina Bero from Sammen om en jobb.
