How does dual career relate to parenting across borders?
In this workshop, we will focus on cross-border parenting responsibilities and discuss third culture kids, multilingualism, educational sustainability for children, and supporting kids’ mental health. New words? Don’t worry - we’ll walk you through everything and try to equip you with what you need to create a plan and move forward, juggling your parenting and career responsibilities. About your host:
Tone Indrelid manages Sammen om en jobb in Stavanger. She is an anthropologist who has worked with expat partners and dual careers both academically and practically since 2002. She has relocated alone, for her career, and as part of a high-mobility family for her husband’s career, and has lived in 4 countries. She has raised 3 bilingual TCKs, navigated several educational systems and host country languages, and gone from two careers, to one lead career/one lead parent, and back to two careers. She is committed to supporting dual-career partners get their ducks in a row to enable dual growth and success in Norway.
Cecilia Dziula is a psychologist who has worked with supporting globally mobile families, both as a psychologist and through various HR roles. Cecilia has relocated internationally, is part of a dual career couple, and is raising cross-cultural, multilingual children.
