Every day, we work to create not only Norway’s largest—but also its best—mentoring program. Here’s a little more about how we do that.

🔑 Key Information

💬 One-on-one guidance: You’ll be assigned a personal mentor to help you on your path to a relevant job. Through regular meetings, you’ll work on what you need to do to improve your chances of finding a job.

💼 Same field: We try to find a mentor from your field or a related field. We also have many mentors with extensive experience in HR, management, and coaching who can be excellent mentors even if they don’t share your exact field. .

🌱 1–4 meetings per month: You decide where and when you want to meet, and we’ll help you plan productive meetings. We’ll try to match you with a mentor who has about as much time as you do.

📆 Six-month duration: Over the course of six months, you’ll work strategically to strengthen your job-search profile and your job-search skills. If you haven’t landed a job by the end of the program, you’ll at least be much closer to doing so.

🖐🏾 The mentors are volunteers or come from partner companies: The mentors are volunteers, which means they are particularly committed to helping you on your path to a job. Many of the mentors also come from our partner companies.

🐘 Norway’s Largest Mentoring Program: With nearly 200 mentoring matches per year, we are by far Norway’s largest mentoring program for highly educated immigrants. This means that, in addition to your personal mentor, you’re also part of a large professional network and have access to plenty of networking opportunities, courses, resources, and other benefits.

🔎 Find your own mentor through self-matching: In addition to our efforts to connect you with a mentor, you can also try to find your own mentor using our self-matching feature.

‼️ Note: We have more job seekers than mentors and cannot guarantee that we will find a mentor for everyone

📊 Results

The chart in the upper right corner shows the results at the end of the mentoring program. Within six months of completing the program, the percentage of people who receive relevant job increases to approximately 50%.

‼️ Although the program in no way guarantees a job, we see a clear trend that job seekers who take the program seriously, are proactive, and actively engage with their mentor have a much higher chance of success.
